Since its premiere in 2006, Paul's play Unnecessary Farce has had over 325 productions worldwide, including productions in Great Britain, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Switzerland (in a Swiss German translation), Iceland (in Icelandic) and Canada (in both English and French). 2022 will see its Austrian premiere - performed in German, and with the title Verdekte Ermittlung.
The Boston Globe called Unnecessary Farce "whip-smart, increasingly frenzied and unrelentingly funny". For more reviews, a description of the play, its production history, information on current and future productions - and lots and lots of photos - visit UnnecessaryFarcePlay.com.
Paul's latest play, The Outsider, can be seen from coast to coast in 2022. Its world premiere was praised by critics as "an inspirational satire" and "a great American play".
Of its 2018 East Coast premiere at Paper Mill Playhouse, Curtain Up wrote: "I recommend spending a couple of hours enjoying every minute of this new play, A company of expert farceurs appear committed to keeping Paper Mill's audiences laughing louder and longer than they have in a long time."
